We have opportunities during the year to attend workshops located in various places.  Currently the only established workshop that is somewhat close is located at the Hilton Conference Center in Waco, TX.  This workshop has been held annually for over 25 years and I have attended them since 1998.  It is a two-day event.  This workshop is very well-organized and is helpful to any level dancer, from the Beginner to the High Advanced.  You are never required to attend workshops.  However, besides being a terrific learning experience, they are a lot of fun!

As I receive information about upcoming workshops, I post it in the studio and those who are interested in attending them get together and make their own plans, i.e. hotel, workshop registration, travel, etc. We have traveled together in the past and it is a lot of fun.

Expenses incurred while at the workshop will be the responsibility of each individual.  There are always vendors at the workshops selling shoes, clothing, taps, fun things, etc.  It is never a problem spending your money.  :)
